My third term most probably has been the best for me, as i feel i have improved greatly on both my practical and experimentation skills. In previous terms, i was scared to try out new things and my final images had to be perfect, however during this semester, i have gained the courage to try out new products, and new skills. This can be shown by my image for Bloody Mary, with the black liquid falling from the mouth. I loved mixing liquids and makeups to see what could be the best outcome. I also feel that i have had much more time in the studio, where i myself can practice on models, and the term has been more practical than theoretical, thats why i have enjoyed it so much! My two images are completely different, one being scary and full of gore, and the other creating a sorrowful and angelic feeling, both being gothic in their own ways.
I am extremely pleased with my final outcomes., and glad i chose Bloody Mary as my urban legend. There is a lot of inspiration and progression behind the images, which is shown through my blog posts, however, i could of concentrated more on the styling side of the images.
Overall, this year has taught me many new things. Not only the makeup side, but also the background information and inspiration that is behind images. My time management skills have also improved. It has flown past so quickly, and there have been good times and bad, but most important of all, i have grown as an individual, and feel i am much more confident in myself to develop and continue with the skills i have learnt for the future.
